What’s the proper way to remove this virus(es)?

What\’s the proper way to remove this virus(es)?
After I went into a website, I got what I thought was a (legit) Microsoft Security alert, it said that 9 viruses had been detected in my computer and they were the following (security alert level next to it in parentheses):
Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Small.dge (High)
Trojan Horse IRC/Backdoor.SdBot4.FRV (Critical)
AdvWare.Hotbar (High)
W32.Nimda.J@mm (Medium)
W32.Yaha.B@mm (Critical)
Trojan-PSW.Win32.LdPinch.abm (Critical)
Trojan.Qoologic – key logger (High)
Adware.Win32.Winad (Critical)
Magic DVD Ripper (High)
Anyways, I suspected that the whole warning is a fake, and haven’t ran anything. I just want to know how should I proceed into getting rid of it? Proper way? Thanks in advance.
