Once We Shed Ourselves of Our Petroleum Addiction All Will Be Well In The World!?
I know this is true, but I just got this thing and it says:
What is neodymium? You should know. It’s only the necessary rare earth element that is essential to green technologies such as, electric motors and wind turbines. It is also used for hard drives and smart phones and flat screen tvs. And we are running out of it.
There is plenty in the ground. But mining has been shut down because of environmental concerns. (Naturally.)
China is in control of 97% of the world’s supply, and they do not want to share with the west.
So, dare I say, as soon as we rid ourselves of our neodymium addiction all will be well in the world!

I thought I was afraid yesterday because of Japan, now it looks like we will not be able to go green. Does anyone know about this? Is it true?
