MAGNET N52 Neodymium?

How do.

I am a complete beginner when it comes to neodymium magnets apart from that they are very strong. I have a N52 magnet 70mm width 20mm thick and unfortunatly i took a bit out of the magnet. It never broke into 2 pieces but it did take a bit out of the side

Just wondering if this will affect the power of the Magnet and if it does is it a significant amount?
