M3 ds simply, white screen wont let me see games?

m3 ds simply, white screen wont let me see games?
when i turn my ds on, the main menu for ds simply comes on and when i pick the picture with the controller in it the bottom screen turns white and stays like that! (the top is all black) i need help and i dont know how to fix it!
