Is there such a thing as an evolving computer virus/worm ?
Biological evolution of viruses seems pretty simple, random change to DNA and whichever has the optimal DNA reproduces more. Right so could this be implemented on a digital scale like random bits of the viral code changing and if it benefits the digital virus maybe it would work the same. I’m just curious about this type of thing does anyone have any thoughts on the matter ?
