help! On my r4 Nitendo Ds, it KEEPS FREEZING!!?

I have pokemon black on my r4 and it keeps on freezing
how can I make it stop freezing?
its really annoying becuase when im at a exciting part it all of a sudden freezes and stops working and I have to turn it off -.-
