My Wii is being dumb.?
So I was trying to play The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and the first screen that game always shows is the one telling you to connect the nunchuck to the wiimote. My nunchuck was already plugged into the wiimote so I just unplugged it then plugged it back in. It still wasn’t going onto the next screen. I tried switching the batteries, resetting the console and using three different nunchucks. I was going to try another Wii remote but I can’t find it. That would be my last hope. D:
Another thing, my brother had just finished playing Resident Evil which also needs a nunchuck and wii remote. It worked fine for him.
Any suggestions? And don’t tell me to go out and buy a new wii remote or anything like that. I have no money and it’s not worth it. I just need to know if there’s anything I can do now.
Thanks :3
Return of unsatisfactory gaming console at GameStop?

Return of unsatisfactory gaming console at GameStop?
Yesterday I bought a brand new Wii bundle from my local GameStop (with the New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack, a black Wii, and a wii remote and nun-chuck) with the assumption that, since it’s a Wii, it could play GameCube games as well. (Now, the main reason I bought a Wii is because I have about 20 old GameCube games that I haven’t been able to play in the year or two since my GC broke.) After about an hour and a half of setting up the Wii and playing the New Super Mario Bros, I decided I wanted to play some of my older games that I had been waiting to play, but lo and behold I had bought the one model of Wii that DOESN’T play GameCube games.
So my question is, is there any way I can either return it (I still have the original packaging and the receipt, but it was opened and used), or exchange it for an older model of the Wii that does play GC games (even if it’s a used one)? Will GameStop let me do that or am I stuck with this Wii?
In response to F- When exchanging it for the same item, does it have to be the same model? Because I’d be fine with getting an older, used Wii in exchange even though it’d be a total waste of money since I could have just gotten the old one in the first place… Also, I’ve considered just getting a GameCube, but I spent all of my money on the Wii, and since I don’t have a job yet it takes me a long time to save up much of anything (six months to save $150, and most of that I got at Christmas…)
Looking for Gamecube Controller that will work with New Wii?

Looking for Gamecube Controller that will work with New Wii?
I recently bought a new Wii, which lacks the ports for the good old Gamecube controller. I am re-downloading Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, both of which are incompatible with the wiimote + Nunchuck. Is there a (reputable) source where I can find Gamecube controllers that will plug in to the wiimote, or will I have to take the plunge and get the Nintendo Classic controller?
How can I ask our friends to not bring their children to our home?

How can I ask our friends to not bring their children to our home?
I apologize in advance if this is a bit long-winded LOL
My husband and I do not have children nor do we want to have children. He is active duty military and we live on a military post. Here is the problem…
The majority of our friends have children and most of them are not the most well-behaved; they don’t listen, the parents don’t discipline/correct them and they generally cause a mess whenever they come to our home. We have two dogs; a Lhasa Apso and a Shih-Tzu. Both are very sweet dogs but our friend’s children terrorize them and scare them by pulling on their tails, trying to step on them etc…they treat our dogs as toys and the parents do nothing but sit, smile and say something like “Oh, isn’t that cute?”..no, it’s not. Our friends allow their children to act any way they want to in our home including allowing them to eat chocolates and other sweets in our living room which we don’t even do, playing around with our Wii and PS3, running, roughhousing, playing with things that should be played with such as vases, electronic equipment, computers etc…one time, our friend’s 3 year old almost broke our 72 inch television with the wii remote because his mother refused to put the strap around his wrist! I understand that kids will be kids but I also think the parents have a responsibility to make sure their kids behave when they are in someone else’s home. Am I wrong?
I am at a loss and not sure what to do. I would really prefer if our friends would find a babysitter or other arrangements when they are going to visit us as they do not monitor their kids at all. We have tried talking to them about this and get the same response every time “that’s just how kids are; lighten up.” It’s so frustrating. Don’t we have the right to enforce rules in our own home?

Xbox 360 controller problem?
I’m having trouble plugging my wiimote into my Xbox 360. There doesn’t appear to be a plug. Do I have to buy an adapter? They’re both made by Samsung so I assume it would work…

How to connect the wii controller with my android device?
Hi, as most of you know it is possible to connect the wii controller with your android device. I’ve tried nearly all apps on android market and none of them work. I’m guessing that my phone is not supported by this apps. I have an LG optimus V. If anyone knows on think that knows a way to get my wii controller paired to my LG VM670, please write it down. Any attempt to help will be appreciated. Hopefully one of you already have the answer:) Thanks in advance!

Could i get a little help with HackMii here?
Hey everybody, I have stumbled upon a small problem with BootMii. I use one of the new black wii’s that come with nsmbwii. I did all the steps required to install HBC and bootmii(through ios btw). But when i go to the launch bootmii screen through HBC, i load everyting but my wii remote(the one with motion plus embedded into it) falls dead on me and i cant navigate through the screen. This is irritating as downloading WAD’S from HBC is an important stpe in hacking the wii. Any help would be appreciated

what to do with wiimote in tv?

what to do with wiimote in tv?
Um, my dad got me a new Wii for my birthday a few days ago and i was trying it out in his room. I don’t like wearing the strap on my wrist because it’s annoying to take off or pass to my younger brother.
Well, we started a game of Wii tennis and it slipped out of my hand and hit my brother in the head and he got super angry and just threw the remote at the ground, it bounced off the ground and nailed the 52″ TV in my parents room.
There’s a big crack on the TV, but the screen still works fine. Should i try to repair the TV with glue or something else, or should i hide it behind the shed in the backyard and tell them it was stolen? I’m super paniced right now help.
