Copying data that can\’t be copied to a new Wii?

Recently, my Wii started having some problems with the lector, which apparently stopped working due to an extreme overheat + advanced technology disk. Anyways, on to the question, repairing it will cost nearly as much as buying a new fresh Wii.

I have copied as much save data to my SD card as I can. However, there are some which say that can’t be copied to the SD card. An example is Black Ops and MW3, which have 2 save data spaces: one that can be copied and another which I think is called “Profile Information”.

My questions (and don’t bother answering if you don’t know for sure):

1) What is this data which cannot be copied? I think it is also present for Mario Kart. Mainly, what does “Profile Data” in MW3 and Black Ops do? What does it save? And what does the other saving data that can be copied save?

2) Is there any way to pass this information to a new Wii? Is it a good idea? Can you pass the wii memory card to a new Wii?

wii controller motion acting up?

I’ve been playing Skyward Sword on a Wii system that I have already owned for some time, but since I’ve started playing Zelda, I’ve noticed that at times the controller has been acting up in a strange way. At random times during the games, especially during any sort of melee fighting, the controller has Link running in the exact opposite of where I point him, and if I try to move him the other way, it’s as though he’s running in place. I’ve had to pause and re-calibrate the controller every time, and it has gotten more and more frequent the farther I get in the game. I am using a controller with motion sensor plus; is this happening to anyone else and how did you fix it? Thank you in advance!

PSX Emulator on iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1?

I have a jail broken iPad running on 5.0.1. I thought it was pretty neat how it was possible to play classic games on the iPad with a wiimote, but unfortunately I can get every ROM to work except the Playstation 1 ones. I successfully got the NES Emulator to work, but when I try to play a PS1 game it will open but freeze after the first intro title. Any ideas? Thanks I really appreciate it:)

Universal Component Cable doesn\’t seem to fit to the PS3?

Ok i just bought Universal Component Cables by Mad Catz at Gamestop today (they are the Cables that come with Xbox, PS3/PS2 and wii cables all in one, they look like this:

Anyway, i am having trouble with it and it is kinda depressing me. The problem that i am having is that it doesn’t seem to fit in my PS3 Slim (I bought the PS3 Uncharted 3 bundle)

I’m just afraid that if i force it in there something might break, like, it goes halfway in but it doesn’t seem to slide in properly. Am i missing something?

dum wii controller is saying ""the extension controller is not supported please remove controller" WHY?

I can you use the nunchuk it came with but not this classic remote I bought whys it saying that

wii remote problems ?

Me and my brother and Sister wanted to play wii. Are buttons on are wii remote were working fine. But the arrow to click stuff did not show up no matter what. We almost broke the whole tv trying to fix it and wasted batteries ! HELP!

What is wrong with me?

Since I was very young (I am 15 now), about maybe 3 or 4, I can remember randomly hearing high frequency noises while I was out side. Sometimess on my right ear, and sometimes on my left. Now that I’m older, I sometimes hear high frequency noises and now even really low frequency sounds. When I am in my room, I can hear the faint sounds coming from out side. My ear facing the window while pick-up the sounds.
Also, I used to not be able to see the InfaRed Lights emitted from my Nintendo wii sensor bar. But yeaterday, after finishing Call of Duty, I clearly saw the IR lights, but no one else could. Isn’t IR not supposed to be seen through the human eye? I used to only be able to see the IR lights through my cell phone camera…

Does the wii gun attachment work for Tom Clancy\’s Ghost Recon?

Im thinking of buying the gun and game but i want to know if the gun is compatible and also the top 5 wii games to get (quite cheap) please answer both questions!!!!!

Would a wii controller bought in Europe work with a Wii purchased in the United States?

We have a Wii purchased in the U.S and found a great deal on 4 wii controllers. I am curious if they would connect to the US Wii.

i have a new tv and i need help,, 10 easy points.?

so my 46 inch 3d smart tv came yesterday. i got it all unpacked, setup ready and everything. i tested my ps3 on it played nba 2k12 and it worked totally fine.
however, when i played on my wii, it’s turnt really laggy. playing on MW3 is so difficult becuase every move of the wii remote or the nunchuck is about 0.5 to 1second behind, making it hard to aim and run straight . the movement delay is also on the home screen. i dont get why this is.

i’ve tried adjusting the wii sensitivity, the bar isn’t obstructed in any way and i’ve also tried to change the in game remote and nunchuck sensitivity.
any help provided would be very much appreciated.
