Would like to buy memory for my PC?

I want to buy a memory stick for my PC (increasing my RAM) and I have no clue what one to buy. I’m ordering off www.newegg.com, can someone please tell me, what info must I provide for you to know which one I should get?

Transferring 350mb file Desktop ->Mem/stick ,Why does it take now 12m instead of 2m. Is it the rear usb panel?

additional detail:
One of the reasons i ask about the rear usb panel ( 2x usb, 2x phone-line), is i got it changed last April & i did notice the speeds a lot quicker! could that be the reason & maybe faulty now?
as i’m only mentioning anything that comes to light
I use a 8GB memory stick to connect to a 4 port usb hub which is handy as it has a long connection to the usb panel at the rear of the desktop, as when i connect it through the usb socket at the front it tells me to connect it through the hub or the usb panel as it is quicker.

I have used the 8gb mem stick on a laptop & there is no problem with transferring files

PSP,memory stick problem!!!?

guyz,i’ll give absolute 10 points who solves my problems…
urm four months ago,i bought a new psp 3004 with a 16GB memory stick pro duo…it works completely until yesterday..here’s the story..
a week ago,i change memory stick with my friends,and yesterday,my memory stick just slows down and the screen of my PSP flicks like the frames per second is slowing down than normal,then,i just switch off the psp,an hour later i try to access my memory stick but the psp system doesn’t detect the memory stick,i try to reboot my psp but it still didn’t detect the memory stick…i tried blowing the memory slot and the memory itself but still doesn’t work…and i even tried to format the memory stick by using my pc..but still doesn’t work..any solutions?other than buying another memory…and one more,if i take out my memory stick from my psp to another for a few times,will it damage my memory stick…?thanks..
when i put in the memory stick,the psp tries to load ,but cannot,just now i tried to left it for a while but it still trying to load and doesn’t seem to load the data..and when i try to format it,it said ‘no memory stick inserted’..and when i format it via my pc(still detectable at my pc,weird),it says ‘windows cannot complete the formatting process’…

Fat 32 to NTFS Problem?

I am trying to convert my 32GB Memory stick to NTFS from FAT 32 but it just wont do it, i have tried right click format but an error comes up. When I try it from the command prompt it says ‘all ntfs boot sectors are unwritable. cannot continue
What isa causing this and how do i fix it?

My Patapon game won\’t work!?

Okay so my friend added Patapon 3 on my memory stick, then when I played it, it said “The game could not be started (80020148)” my PSP version is 5.50 GEN-D (Full)

What will I do?
If I will update the PSP, up to where will I update?
Ex:

From 3.90 to 5.50

What file formats are compatible with a Toshiba TV?

I have a Toshiba 32BV500V.
There’s a USB slot where I can put in a USB memory stick.
I managed to watch a film from the USB stick on the TV earlier, so I know films work.
However, I tried to watch something different just now, and it says it’s not a compatible file format. I don’t understand this because it’s the same format as the film I watched previously.
Please help me.

About RAM upgrade on iMac…?

I’m thinking about upgrading my iMac from 4GB to 8GB RAM with some third-party memory sticks. However, I have a question about the slots for the memory. Does the mid-2010 21.5″ i3 iMac have four slots for memory? In the Apple System Profiler, it says that I have two filled spots with 2GB RAM each in them, named BANK 0/DIMM 1 and BANK 1/DIMM 1. The other two, BANK 0/DIMM 0 and BANK 1/DIMM 0 are listed as empty. However, is that some computer jargon, or actual slots that I can use (so I could put ether 2GB RAM in the remaining two, or a 4GB RAM in one of them)? Are BANK/DIMM names for where the RAM is located?

Can I record video to the memory stick on a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV730?

I don’t have a firewire card, so I was trying to find out if I’d be able to record video to the “memory stick” it says it comes with or if that’s just for still shots. Also, it says it’s compatible with a “4MB” memory stick, would I be able to get a larger memory card or is it only compatible with what it came with? Sorry if it’s really obvious, I just want to make sure I can actually use this before I go blowing money on a memory stick.
