Is it bad to vibrate your hand?

I dance and i do this move when you vibrate your hands, it gives it this strobe light effect on my body. And my friend told me that its bad for me to do it. Is this true? Thanks!

I have a 95 gmc vandura (runs great) but I got in the car one day and my clock had reset itself back to 12 (does this everytime I turn off the car also my lighter,horn and emergency lights dont work. I went to check the fuses and sure enough I found one that was blown. So I changed it seemed like everything was working tell I tried the horn, it honked but then I heard the fuse blow. Put a new one in and tried it again but this time the lighter- it worked once then the fuse blew…Any ideas or things I can check out myself? I really need some help here. I dont enough money to bring it in to a shop. So I have to fix it myself just dont know where to start. Thanks in advance

Should I buy Speedlight or Soft Box? HELP!?

Hi,
I’m a photographer and a videographer. I was planning to buy 2 soft boxes with continuous strobe lights as they r gonna help me with videos and portrait photography. But I also want to buy a speed light for high speed photography, water splashes etc. I can only buy one of these right now. Which should I buy first? Speed light or soft boxes? and Why?

Senior Prom: Is it overrated or over hyped?

I don’t get why Prom is so talked about. Well I guess if your popular, have plenty of friends, and don’t get bullied I can see why. Then again I am socially awkward since I don’t fit in with many people in my school since I was the tell you right in your face/party guy. I didn’t go because I didn’t want to deal with a bunch of rude loud mouth people. But I went to visit my mom’s side of the family in Denton, Texas and met up with an old friend who I went to middle school with. She needed a prom date I decided to go with her. I admit I had fun because I had people like me at their prom not to mention they had it at a center with strobe lights and disco balls and not at their school like my school did not to mention everyone had their own parties. We both went to one and ended up having fun. Now back to my town. Everyone said I should of gone to their prom even though it wasn’t that good not to mention a lot of people don’t like me because of my personality. Everyone keeps on saying that Prom is a once in a life time opportunity.

Well that’s a lie in my school’s case. They let anyone 23 and under go if their date signs them up in advanced so they get checked by the police. Not to mention a girl who I’m friends with that is a senior this year wanted me to go to prom with her.

I went to Junior prom (Gala) in middle school as well. This had to be the most bias dance ever. Certain kids were honorees in your grade (only 8th graders allowed in the dance). They had to INVITE people to go to THAT dance. If you weren’t on the final list you COULDN’T go. I only went because people wanted me to go not to mention I had more friends in middle school then high school since a lot of them moved or transferred schools. They played pranks on people on that dance.

Bottom line Yeah I don’t like to go to dances often but I only went because of friends. Do you think it’s just overrated or over hyped?

Why Am I Having So Much Trouble Finding People To Photograph?

Since September my entire life has been photography. What I’ve been trying to do since mid-October is find people to do photo shoots with so I can go through the shoots and select the best picture from each shoot to make a portfolio of at least 20 pictures. I signed up for Model Mayhem back in October but it has yet to really do anything beneficial with this problem I’m having. I encourage people to bring an escort with them so they feel more comfortable. I always state that as far as the outfit goes they can wear whatever they would really like to be shot in. I don’t ask them to wear anything skimpy or revealing. The only circumstances I even talk about that with them is if THEY bring up that they want to be photographed in something like lingerie or a swimsuit etc. etc. Because I’m just getting into this I make it very clear on my profile and even when I ask people I know personally that I’m looking to do TF work typically I give them a CD of the shoot pictures. Since I started this I’ve done two shoots both with girls who had never modeled before and the girl who does hair and make up for me told them if they modeled for me she’d cut and do their hair for free and do their make up for free. I’m to the point where I’m about ready to sell the Nikon D7000 I don’t use to get money to offer pay for letting me photograph people. This is a huge passion of mine and I just invested in a professional studio strobe lighting kit that cost me thousands of dollars with all the modifiers and everything…. I realize it isn’t the equipment that makes the photographer too. Which is why I have really dedicated myself to reading every book I can get my hands on and applying what I read. I’m constantly reading and learning anything I can find whether it’s books, ebooks, articles, videos, etc. etc. I looked into taking classes at the local community college here hoping that I would meet some people there to photograph but all the classes were full for the next quarter. I just have no idea what I’m doing wrong or what I’m NOT doing. Also I tallied up how many different people I would’ve done photo shoots with if a lot of people hadn’t just no showed on me or backed out right before we were scheduled to shoot and I got 29….since basically the end of October…. I’ve done TWO photo shoots out of those 29….. What is going on?

Will a alternator that is going bad do "this" to a car?

So I was driving my 2000 Toyota Camry, and the radio was on. Then the radio suddenly goes off and at the same time the engine sound goes mute. So I look at the rpm meter and it’s dropped all the way to zero, and the car slowly decelerates to a complete stop. (Don’t worry, I steered the car to the side lane away from traffic). I tried to put the emergency light on, and even that won’t even turn on. I tried to restart the car by taking the key out and putting it back in, but to no avail the car won’t start.

So after 5 minutes, and right before I call the tow truck, I open up the hood, give some good punches to the engine top in my frustration.
Then got in the car and once more tried again, and fortunately the car turned on fine, as it usually did.

In the period of 10 years of having this car (with constant service every 10,000 miles) this is the first time that this happened.

The engine wasn’t overheating because I remember the temperature gauge was in the cool range when I was driving it before it stalled, and there wasn’t any smoke, and the fuel was 3/4 of the way full.

So anybody have any idea as to what would cause this?
(I don’t want the car to go dead again while travelling in a highway)
